The Future of ELT

The web tool/app that I'm going to share today is "Quizlet". Quizlet is basically an app that offers free study tools like flashcards, games, and quizzes to help improving learning skills and performance. Let's now talk about how to use the functions on this app. Start with downloading the Quizlet  app  or you can use the website  page to create your account by signing up. Begin by selecting create and use study sets, then title your set accordingly and begin entering your terms and definitions then you may enter as many terms as needed by pressing the "add" sign, you can also add images for each word when you click "image" you can upload from your own computer but it will also give images that match the words.  When you're all finished, you can click done. In Quill Connect, students combine multiple ideas in a single sentence and receive instant feedback to help them improve their clarity and precision. Quill Diagnostic is a 22-question diagnostic that determines which skills students need to work on, and generates personalized learning plan based on their performance. In Quill Proofreader, students edit passages and receive personalized exercises based on their result giving them all the practice they need to spot common grammatical errors. Quill Grammar is a 10-minute writing activity that allows students to practice basic grammar skills, from comma placement to parallel structure. The  SAMR Model  is a framework created by Dr. Ruben Puentedura that categorizes four different degrees of classroom technology integration. The letters " SAMR " stand for Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition.
